What affects the price

  • Lock type and grade. Standard residential locks take less time than high-security or restricted-key cylinders.
  • Parts. Rekeying reuses your lock. Replacement includes new hardware, which you can choose by budget and security grade.
  • Vehicle and key type. A basic cut key costs less than a transponder key or smart fob that must be programmed.
  • Number of locks. Rekeying several locks to one key in a single visit is usually better value than separate visits.

The lock type, the door or vehicle, and whether parts are needed all change the work involved. We ask a few questions on the phone so the quote fits your situation.
